May Day SMASH is a resistance initiative to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Get all resistance groups to adopt May 1, 2025 as a day of action and coordinate with each other to maximize media and other impact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Get all resistance groups to adopt phrases such as “Separate Musk And State” and\/or “SMASH the Coup” as themes for the May Day action to indicate their focus on toppling the first two dominoes: Tesla and Elon Musk. Resistance groups should advertise the theme via all media channels. Such theming is additive not exclusive, meaning that this theme is added to existing demands\/themes that a resistance group is pursuing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    May Day SMASH will contact at least the following types of resistance groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. May Day Committees in cities across the US that organize annual May Day marches<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Protest groups like 50501, Indivisible, Women’s march and others that signed on to the \u201cHands Off\u201d April 5 day of action<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Labor Unions (Teachers, SEIU and all AFL-CIO affiliates)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Legalization for All (L4A) network that is calling for this May Day to be \u201cA day without immigrants\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Desired outcomes from May Day SMASH include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. Get national media headlines after May Day similar to “Millions march on May Day to Separate Musk And State”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Convince AFL-CIO and Unions that the people at large back them against DOGE and Musk, and that they should be confident in initiating stronger actions against DOGE and Musk.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
