Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, aka DOGE are on a destruction spree that goes beyond ending various essential programs and services. They are damaging the very infrastructure necessary to provide such services in the future, whether this is through the elimination of government agencies such as USAID, or via taking control of the computer systems of e.g. SSA (Social Security Administration), CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) or the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their ultimate goal is to replace the U.S. government with privately controlled “network state” autocracies run by billionaires. These \u201cnetwork states\u201d might offer some of the same services the government used to provide, but people would now be forced to sacrifice their freedom and rights and be subject to an autocracy, just to get by. Essentially, Musk, DOGE, and company want to control everything, and reduce almost all of the population to a modern form of slavery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is crucial to stop this destruction, protect the government’s ability to provide services and emphatically reject the idea of “network states\u201d. Failure of the Resistance to make this a top priority risks a de facto slide into \u201cnetwork states\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
